TWO PEOPLE charged with causing a disturbance that disrupted traffic on a City street faced different outcomes yesterday in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court.

Dario Jamar Cheltenham, 23, of Pavilion Road, Bush Hall, and Raven Davina Gill, 25, of Passage Garden, Passage Road, both in St Michael, pleaded guilty to the offence, which occurred in Chapel Street on Tuesday.

Cheltenham also admitted to using abusive language: “I don’t care bout de . . . police! . . . de police!” toward a policeman on the same day.

Prosecutor Station Sergeant Neville Watson told the court that the accused were in the area of KFC on Tudor Street around noon when they were engaged in a vigorous argument. That argument became extremely loud as they “cuss and rant and rave”, eventually disrupting the flow of traffic. (TKS)
