CARIFESTA logo and jingle winners named

MUSICIAN, WRITER AND composer Darin Holder and graphic artist Alan Lowe are the winners of the CARIFESTA XIII jingle and logo competition, respectively.

They were presented with prizes of US$5 000 by Minister of Culture Stephen Lashley at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre today.

There were 33 entries in the jingle competition and 85 in the logo contest.

CARIFESTA will be staged in Barbados from August 17 to 27, 2017.

Lashley said a contract has been awarded for the refurbishment of Queen’s Park in time for the festival. (GC)
