POLICE HAVE ARRESTED and formally charged Jason Renaldo Ashton with nine cases of theft allegedly committed across five station areas.
The 30-year-old of no fixed place of abode is accused of committing the offences within the District ‘B’, District ‘A’, Worthings, Oistins, and Black Rock areas between July 23 and September 17, 2016.
He is expected to appear in the District ‘C’ Magistrates’ Court today.
Ashton was arrested after police investigated a social media posting warning people especially women, to be wary of a “con artist” who was driving behind vehicles and pretending to offer assistance. (PR/NB)
