Woman shot during ‘family dispute’

POLICE ARE CONDUCTING investigations into a shooting incident which occurred around 9:45 a.m. yesterday at Arch Hall, St Thomas. 

A 58-year-old woman received a gunshot injury to the right side of her head. She was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance where she was treated and discharged.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the injured woman was involved in a family dispute, which became physical.

A 37-year-old man is currently in police custody assisting with the investigations.  (PR/NB)
