Josiah ready for T&T duathlon

A SPRAINED TOE and shoulder injury could not stop Oein Josiah from competing in yet another duathlon.

“Over the last month I had to tweak a few training sessions to treat two injuries, but God has been good and I am ready to fire on both pistons this weekend,” Josiah told the SATURDAY SUN just before he left for Trinidad on Thursday morning to attend the Flow Energy Sunday Mini Duathlon and Savannah 1-lap Run.

Josiah will contest two adult mini-duathlon 3 km runs and an 11.3 km bike race.

He said that training was going relatively okay and he was in a better place mentally and physically when compared to last year. He was hoping to better last year’s third place performance. (JC)
