THE ROAD AT TODDS CORNER, St Joseph is blocked due to a fallen tree at St Bernard’s village. A poison tree fell about midday yesterday but since the all clear was not given it could not be removed.
Members of the St Joseph District Emergency Organisation have blocked the road with two vehicles and are waiting on the Ministry of Transport and Works to come and cut up the tree and remove it.
Motorists are asked to take alternative routes from St Thomas or Bathsheba. The Chalky Mount bus was diverted. (LK)
