BARBADOS finished third for the second straight year at the Central American And Caribbean (CAC) Bodybuilding and Fitness Championship in the Dominican Republic, last weekend.

Hosts Dominican Republic won the championships with an excellent all-round team, while Venezuela were second.

“The Barbados team did just as predicted. We were able to win five divisions and we produced two more IFBB (International Federation of Bodybuilders) professionals which brings our IFBB professionals to 12 over the last decade,” team manager Dr Andrew Forde told NATION SPORT after the 20-member team returned home.

The 44th CAC Championships was the biggest ever in Central American and Caribbean history. (RA)
