BE WARNED. Vendors who ply their trade at sporting tournaments across the island are being reminded to have the necessary documents in order, or they will be shut down.

A recent bulletin issued by the Government Information Service, reminded vendors attending the ongoing David Thompson Memorial Constituency Councils Football Classic that they needed to have a liquor licence to sell alcohol at match venues.

The bulletin further stated that officials from the Royal Barbados Police Force have mandated that all vendors report to the assigned police official on their arrival at each match.

When contacted, police public relations officer Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler confirmed that the details in the bulletin were accurate, as they attempted to have the law followed to the letter. (RA)
