THE BARBADOS WORKERS’ UNION (BWU) wants 15 per cent; the government is offering zero.

And a stand-off now seems to be brewing between the Ministry of the Civil Service and the BWU after the latest round of wages negotiations, held at Government Headquarters, apparently ended in a stalemate yesterday.
