JUST FOUR TEAMS will be contesting the prestigious Premier Division when the club season for the top table tennis teams serves off this weekend.
Defending champions Fast Loopers, led by coach and former Caribbean champion Trevor Farley, and including national player and ace defender Tyrese Knight, will be up against Mount Gay Bayswaters on table one, while the Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme battle with the Calvary Institute Rising Sun on table two. Both matches are scheduled for 6:30 tonight.
It will be an eager return to competition for the players who have been inactive for almost a year.
Internal issues, including the launching of a new constitution, caused the tournament to be put back. (PH)
