Two sweet

BARBADOS HAS NOT one but two senior sweethearts.

Sharon Bellamy-Thompson and Doriel Skinner both tied for the top spot of the Ms Senior Sweetheart Pageant of Barbados/International held at Raddison Aquatica Resort last Saturday.

If the cheers and the several photos taken shortly after the announcement was made was anything to go on, then the decision was a popular one.

Organiser Morella Frederick said that both women would share the title and one would fill in when the other could not.

From start to finish both Bellamy-Thompson and Skinner showed that they were in it to win it, and stood out among the other contestants who, when introduced themselves, said they were representing the parishes but nowhere throughout the contest was reference made to this or was it depicted in any way.
