POLICE HAVE CHARGED a 25-year-old St Michael man in connection with the shooting death of Kevin Brewster.
Shamar Omar Ishmael, of 1st Ave Jackson, has been charged with the murder of Brewster who was shot in the back of his head last Friday, near the Nazarene Church in Jackson.
Brewster was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance, but he succumbed to his injuries.
On Sunday, police reported a suspect was in custody assisting with the investigation.
Ishmael is expected to appear before the District ‘A’ Magistrate Court on Tuesday. (PR/SAT)
