Wanted man surrenders

KINGSTON – Police say the main suspect in the murder of five people, including three children, at their home in St Catherine, south east of here on Sunday, has surrendered.

They said that Marvin Campbell Sr, also known as “Fatman” surrendered at the Commissioner‘s Office in the company of a pastor on Wednesday.

The five victims had been identified as  Salesha Evans, 24, her nine-year-old son Revaughn Evans;  22-year-old Venisha Bartley and her two-year-old daughter Koyandra Wynter; and 14-year-old Marvin Campbell Jr.

A 25-year-old man and 14-year-old girl who were injured in the attack are hospitalised at the Spanish Town Hospital.

Police said the main suspect, believed to be a relative of the victims, is also wanted on other charges including incest and murder. They had given him up until Monday to surrender. (CMC)
