ANOTHER MAJOR sporting project has hit a snag at the Port.

A shipment of building materials for the $18-million upgrade at the Wildey Gymnasium is reportedly held up in the Bridgetown Port.

A source close to the situation broke the news earlier this week.Initial redevelopment works had previously stalled due to undisclosed reasons.

According to the source, the materials have been stuck in the Port since August and still aren’t expected to be delivered until next month.  (JM)
