A TEENAGER who almost lost her life when she was struck by a stray bullet while on board the Jolly Roger, is now suffering the ill effects.

On August 7, Ronisha Wilkinson was attending the Overdose cruise when she was shot in the back of the head during a dockside exchange of gunfire between several men.

Two other men were also injured in the incident, which left 19-year-old Kemari Lewis of Black Rock, St Michael nursing a gunshot wound to the left shoulder while Kadeem Maycock, 20, of Baxter’s Road, The City was shot in the left foot.

Three men have since been charged for the shooting. Cyle Sargeant, of Bourne’s Land, Silver Sands, Christ Church; Orlando Diego Romell Ellis, of Morris Gap, Westbury Road, St Michael; and Kadeem Jalani Maycock, of Nelson Street, The City have been remanded to HMP Dodds. (RB)
