THE TRIDENT went back to “Windsor” – of some sorts.

As Barbados continues activities in the lead-up to its 50th year of Independence, the students of Windsor High School welcomed the Broken Trident to their Quarry Road, Bank Hall, St Michael institution yesterday.

The visit saw teachers, students, parents and visitors from the community sign the commemorative book, and treated to entertainment and a trip down memory lane where a number of Barbadian iconic images were on display. These included a Rediffusion set, a rotary telephone, a steam iron and a jucking board.
