Painter shot dead on the job

A BRITTONS HILL, St Michael man was shot to death this afternoon.

According to reports, painter Edward Watson, who was said to be in his 40s, was working at a home in Golden Plover Road, Inch Marlow, Christ Church, when the incident occurred.

Residents spoke of hearing several gunshots around 1 p.m. They said Watson’s body was slumped face down in the patio with gunshot wounds to the chest and leg.

He was said to have been employed by owner of the home, former Barbados and England cricketer Roland Butcher, who declined to comment. (TSG)
