FOUR CHILDREN, INCLUDING a seven-month-old girl, have been robbed of a father following the shooting death of 48-year-old Edward Watson.

His partner, 28-year-old Joanna Astley, is now faced with a life without her fiancé and the father of her only child. The two have been together for the past three years.

The Dominica-born painter was working at the residence of former Barbados and England cricketer Roland Butcher at Golden Plover Road, Inch Marlow, Christ Church, on Monday when he was killed.

Investigators said sometime between 1:30 p.m. and 1:45 p.m., neighbours in the upscale housing development heard a number of loud explosions. Shortly afterwards Watson was discovered lying motionless in the patio of the house. He subsequently died at the scene. (LK)
