Kellman: Water woes not new

THE WATER WOES taxing residents in the northern parishes for the better part of the year are on the way to be being resolved, said Minister of Housing, Lands and Rural Development Denis Kellman.

But in a heated exchange with Barbados Labour Party (BLP) St Joseph member of Parliament Dale Marshall, who has been outspoken about the water crisis severely impacting residents in his constituency, Kellman charged that if the problems were not brought to a close soon, it will be due to sabotage from dissenters.

Making his contribution to the Barbados Green Economy Scoping Study resolution brought before the House on it resumption yesterday, the St Lucy MP insisted that the water problem in St Joseph is “90 per cent or more solved”. (SDB Media)
