Mia: BLP ready to rumble

ARE WE READY?

Party leader of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP), Mia Mottley, asked that question during her near 90-minute address at the party’s annual conference at The Lester Vaughan School yesterday evening, and the hundreds of exuberant party members answered in the affirmative by way of a chant.

“We are ready,” the BLP crew said in unison.

The leader of the country’s oldest political party then advised party faithful on how to complete their next mission; a win at the polls.

“All of the people who are members of this party are ambassadors, and we need to understand that what we do or what we say will either help or hinder, and we have a mission to undertake.
