WESTBURY PRIMARY STAMPED stamped early dominance when the Cave Shepherd/Berger Royals National Primary Schools’ Road Tennis Championships served off at the Rubis Courts, Spring Garden, yesterday.

Playing with a lot of confidence and aggression, akin to the style of their ambassador, Antonio “Lil Man” Daniel, Westbury dismissed Belmont Primary, Luther Thorne and St Joseph to advance at the top of the Berger Wood Tech Zone.

Westbury started slowly against Belmont Primary, with T’Shawn Weekes defeating Teon Cadogan 21-17; Kenai Yarde stopping Joshua Oxley 21-15; and Tyrese King beating Raziel Lopey 21-11.

However, when the flashy Romario Narcisse was given a game in the following match against the hapless St Joseph Primary, Westbury really showed their class. (KB)
