LUCK WAS ON the side of an elderly woman yesterday.

The woman, said to be in her 60s, escaped serious harm when she was caught in the middle of crossfire between two men at Sargeant’s Village Tenantry Road, Christ Church, around 8:30 a.m.

Hours later and a short distance away, two assailants fired at police responding to a call about a crime being committed in the same district at about 2:15 p.m.

No one was injured in either of the shootings. (RB)
