NSC blank Mavericks 5-0

THE NATIONAL SPORTS COUNCIL continued their flawless run in this year’s Barbados Football Association’s Women’s League by eclipsing Mavericks Women 5-0 last Sunday at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

Tianna Hackett spearheaded the victory by scoring the first and fourth goals in the 16th and 72nd minutes.

Jalisa Callender scored the second goal in the 54th minute, Kimberly Ellis netted two minutes later, and Shanice Stevenson sealed the deal in the 77th minute.

ESFC Unity Stars also shattered Braddie’s Bar Pinelands’ hopes of scoring any goals in the evening’s match with a 3-0 victory after all the goals came in the first half.(RA)
