THE DEATH of 17-year-old Simeon Morris has proved to be a very bitter pill to swallow for all who remember the quiet Christ Church Foundation School student.

Morris, who was a returning fifth form student, fell into difficulty after a wave knocked him over at Silver Sands, Christ Church yesterday.

The Cherry Grove, St John resident leaves to mourn his younger brother and his mother Jennifer Giles.  Giles was said to be still grappling with the sudden loss of Simeon’s father in recent years.

When a NATION team visited the family’s home today, family friend Coreen McCollin said Giles was spending the day away from home.

Among those from the Christ Church Foundation School reeling from the sudden death today was Principal Robert Cumberbatch.

He said that some senior classes were disrupted because of the impact of the loss. (MR)
