THE NATIONAL Sports Council (NSC) remained undefeated at the end of round one of the Barbados Football Association’s Women’s League.

They finished the final round in style by blanking Mavericks 5-0 on Sunday night at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex for their seventh victory, with Barbados midfielder Tianna Hackett getting a brace.

Hackett started the goalfest in the 16th minute, sending a lovely shot into the back of the nets.

Though the NSC managed to score that early goal, the Mavericks fought back, limiting them to one goal throughout the first half. (RG)
