CELLPHONE THIEF Justin Wayne Jackman thought he had got away with his crime until the phone rang a couple of hours later.
That’s when police and the owner of the mobile phone tracked him using the global positioning system (GPS) capabilities on it.
The 38-year-old, of Melbourne Apartments, Black Rock, St Michael, had made off with Melodie Rodriguez-Richardson’s $900 cellphone, $30 phone case and $120 on November 20.
Prosecutor Station Sergeant Neville Reid, said Richardson left her bag in a chair while she and her husband frolicked at Browne’s Beach, St Michael. Jackman took it. (TKS)
