LOCAL HOCKEY is one step closer to getting its turf laid.

President Mark St Hill revealed the Barbados Hockey Federation (BHF) had finally received all Government approval and was only now awaiting the supplier to prepare a shipment of 240 tonnes of sand to complete the laying of the idle AstroTurf.
