Champion driver Roger Mayers isn’t calling it quits as he expects to fully recover from a high-speed accident in the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Winter Sprint two months ago.
“I suffered two cracked ribs, had three or four that separated which caused immense pain and sleeping was a problem, but I was advised to take it light during the recovery period and I have been following the doctor’s instruction, and those of my wife Lisa, who is making sure that I recover well,” he said.
He was given two months to recover by his doctors, and told NATION SPORT he was feeling much better now. (TT)
