Teen shot in minibus in The City

POLICE ARE CONDUCTING investigations into a shooting incident which occurred around 10 a.m. Saturday at Tudor Street, Bridgetown, St Michael.

Shamar Victor Corbin, 19, of Bush Hall, St Michael received multiple gunshot injuries to his chest.

According to a media release, Corbin boarded minibus B43 in Tudor Street. Two men subsequently boarded the same minibus and shot Corbin multiple times.

He was transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance where his condition is listed as critical.

Investigations are continuing and anyone who can provide any information to assist is asked to contact the Police Emergency at telephone number “211”, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), CID Central at 4307189 or the nearest police station.
