’TIS the season to be happy, but Barbados Netball Association (BNA) president Nisha Craigwell could be in the battle of her life when the body holds its elections tomorrow.
Craigwell, who has been on the BNA’s executive for almost two decades and assumed the presidency in 2012, is expected to face a stiff challenge from Veronica Harris when the annual general meeting is held at the Barbados Olympic Association’s headquarters.
Indeed, the entire executive is likely to face a test.
The only unchallenged incumbent is treasurer Kathy Jones. This is an unusual situation, as the treasurers of associations often face the greatest grilling by the membership. (KB)
