TWO in a row. That’s what the records show for Jamaican-born Barbados-based driver Christopher “Teach” MacFarlane.
He is the repeat champion driver of the Barbados Rally Club’s (BRC) Auto Cross Series.
At the wheel of a well turned out Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 10, the former Jamaica champion driver made a clean sweep of the keenly contested competition when he sealed the proceedings with a time of 1 minute 15.77 seconds as the curtain came down on this year’s action with the recent settling of Round 4 at the Vaucluse Raceway.
“Congratulations to Chris for a clean sweep of this year’s event and taking two back-to- back championships. Stuart Garcia was once again the man to take the fight to Chris and ended up second and Marlon Bell had an incredible day to finish third,” Goddard noted.
