Tudor Street shooting accused remanded

THE TWO YOUNG men charged in connection with last Saturday’s Tudor Street, The City shooting have been remanded to prison.

Jerome Antone Stuart, 20, of 8th Avenue, New Orleans, St Michael, and Akeele Jerome St Hill, 19, of 6th Avenue New Orleans appeared before Magistrate Kristie Cuffy-Sargeant in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court today.

They were charged with unlawful use of a firearm and serious bodily harm.

The shooting incident which occurred on a minibus left 19-year-old Shamar Victor Corbin of 3rd Avenue, Bush Hall, St Michael with multiple gunshot wounds to his chest. 

Stuart and St Hill will reappear in court on January 6, 2017. (PR/NB)
