A BRIGHT AND SUNNY yellow space will greet children and the public who visit the reception centre at the Nightengale Children’s Home, thanks to a new paint job.
Over the weekend members of the Starcom Network and the Nation Publishing cricket team joined with Standard (Distributors) and the Child Care Board (CCB) to paint the building in Black Rock, St Michael, where the children are introduced before they are transferred to the different sections of the children’s homes.
Alison Roach-Plummer, organiser of the media house cricket team and the painting initiative called Winning For Children, said the team won all five celebrity matches staged since the beginning of the year. (LK)
