THE THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE singing Christmas carols and hymns lustily at Ilaro Court Sunday evening provided a reminder that this is the “most wonderful time of the year”.
Clichéd as it may be, it certainly rang true for those who filled almost every inch of space on the damp lawns of the Prime Minister’s official residence for this year’s edition of Carols By Candlelight.
For all ages – from babies in arms and toddlers to grandparents – it has become one of the staples on the Christmas calendar and is always a great opportunity to see and hear some of the talented singers in the country.
With candlelight flickering across the expansive space, the Carols By Candlelight Choir was led by Tamara Marshall, Marissa Lindsay and Biggie Irie, all of whom performed individually. (Green Bananas Media)
