THE DOORS of Solaris Global Energy have been closed for a month, and the workers are still waiting for the good news about money owed to them.
According to a high-ranking official of the Trinidad-owned company, the debt could all be settled before Christmas.
“We are very close to having the matter settled,” Solaris’ legal counsel Keith Scotland told the MIDWEEK NATION from Dominica recently.
“I will be speaking with the client very soon, as we are still very much trying to have the situation solved. Once that dialogue starts, we will be well on our way to the workers being paid before Christmas,” he added. (BA)
