MURDER-ACCUSED Jamar Antonio Pile yesterday made his second appearance in court this week, this time on charges of incest and indecent assault of a minor.

Appearing in the District “A” Magistrates’ Court before Magistrate Douglas Frederick, Pile, a 25-year-old landscaper, of Skeete Road, Jackmans, St Michael, was not required to plead to the offences, which allegedly occurred between October 1 and 31, 2014.

Prosecutor Neville Reid objected to bail, saying that the accused was already on bail for a capital matter and the offences were serious.

Magistrate Frederick remanded Pile until January 13.

Pile and his sister Faith Angelica Pile, 21, along with Faith’s boyfriend Shaquan Sherwin Amor Crichlow, 19, also of Skeete Road, are jointly charged with the murder of David Nicholas Blenman, of Golden Mile, Heywoods, St Peter.

They appeared before Chief Magistrate Christopher Birch in the District “C” Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday. Blenman’s body was found on a beach at Foul Bay, St Philip.

The three were not required to plead to the capital charge that between November 30 and December 1, 2016, they murdered Blenman, who was two weeks away from his 27th birthday. They were remanded until January 11. (TKS)
