A PROPOSAL for an alternative to school suspension is before the Ministry of Education.
The plan by counselling company Supreme Counselling for Personal Development was disclosed Saturday night during the non-profit organisation’s Christmas dinner and prize-giving ceremony at Merc Auditorium, New Testament Church of God, River Road, The City.
Chief executive officer Shawn Clarke said they were awaiting the ministry’s response to the proposal.
If approved, it would allow suspended students to be released into the care of the organisation which would focus on their specific problems. (WILLCOMM)
