St Joseph man on murder charge

POLICE HAVE CHARGED 28-year-old George Biscette of Airy Hill, St Joseph in relation to the murder of 19-year-old Shaquone Maycock.

Maycock, formerly of 7th Avenue New Orleans, St Michael, was shot at Airy Hill on November 6, 2016.

Biscette appeared in the District ‘F’ Magistrates’ Court on November 14 on firearm and ammunition charges in relation to the same incident.

He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds to reappear in court on January 13, 2017.  He will now face the murder charge on that date. (PR/NB)
