Police name visitor who died in jet ski incident

POLICE ARE CONTINUING their investigations into the unnatural death of 29-year-old British national Jordan Jamal Mayers who died at Maxwell Beach, Christ Church yesterday.

He arrived in the island on Wednesday along with other family members for a reunion.

Police say Mayers was involved in a jet ski collision while at the beach with one of his relatives.

He was rushed to a private medical doctor where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The Royal Barbados Police Force extended condolences to the family and friends of the deceased. (PR/NB)
