Holiday of sun, sea and sand

THERE IS no place like home for the holidays but, as the song goes, wherever a man lays his hat is his home.

And that was the case for scores of visitors who came from as far as France and Canada to make Barbados their home for the Christmas holidays.

Toronto resident Jim Corbit was soaking up the sunshine at Accra Beach and said he was impressed with the community feeling as a first-time visitor.

“I don’t want to compare Aruba to Barbados but I’ll say this, I really love it here,” he said. (MR)
