Three shot in St Patrick’s

THREE ST PHILIP men were shot in the wee hours of this morning at Packers, St Patrick’s, Christ Church. 

They are Andre Toppin, 43, of Chapel Land, Peter Edghill, 35, of Foul Bay and 34-year-old Damien Bourne of Parish Land. 

Police say they were among a group of people attending an “unauthorised” event when a number of men entered the area around 1 a.m. 

An altercation occurred and the men opened fire. 

Toppin received a gunshot injury to his left shoulder while Bourne was shot in his back. 

Edghill was shot in his abdomen and also suffered a fractured right arm and an injury to his head.  

They were all transported to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.     

Police are appealing to anyone with information that can assist with this investigation to call District ‘B’ Police Station at telephone numbers 437-4311, or 430-7625, police emergency number 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-TIPS (8477), or the nearest police station.
