Bajan artistes impress

BAJAN ARTISTES MADE a big splash in the Land of the Hummingbird this week.

King Bubba, Hypa Sounds, Dwaintrobus and De Red Boyz all left their ultra-marine and blue mark at the 13th International Soca Awards (ISA).

Dwaintrobus won for the Best Soca Compilation Riddim Of The Year, with the Groove Theory Riddim, King Bubba’s Whole Night was voted the Best Soca Music Video Of The Year, De Red Boyz’s Bam Bam, All Ah We and Old & Gray earned them the Soca Producer Of The Year award, while Hypasounds won Best Up-Tempo Soca Of The Year in the male category, for his song How She Like It.

Producers Mikey Hulsmeier of De Red Boyz as well as Dwain Dwaintrobus Antrobus were both in disbelief about their wins when informed by the SATURDAY SUN(SDB Media)
