FOUR BABY BOYS and three girls were born at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on New Year’s Day.

Patsy Hewitt, Janelle Griffith, Ayana Small and Tanisha Reid welcomed their babies into the world between 1:38 p.m. and 11 p.m., to join Shakira Clarke, Charmaine Addison and Kathrinia Connell who had become proud mothers earlier in the day on Sunday.

Reid, 27, gave birth to her eight-pound, five-ounce daughter at 1:38 p.m.

Eleven minutes later, 34-year-old Hewitt welcomed her son who weighed seven pounds, two ounces.

Things were relatively quiet until 5:37 p.m. when Griffith’s son was born. The 34-year-old’s New Year’s gift was nine pounds, three ounces.

Small, 30, made the last delivery for the day, her seven-pound, eight-ounce son arriving at 11 p.m.

There were no births at the Bayview Hospital for New Year’s. (YB)
