IT IS SIMPLY a case of the rules being enforced.
In the recently concluded Barbados Football Association (BFA) Women’s League competition, five of the seven teams, as a result of not showing for their scheduled matches, had six points deducted from their score.
Those teams are UWI Women FC, E.S.F.C Unity Stars, Pinelands Women, Kick Start Genesis and Technique Football Club.
According to BFA president Randy Harris, this move is in keeping with the rules as set out in the association’s rulebook. (RA)
