Man shot during robbery attempt

POLICE ARE CONDUCTING investigations into a shooting incident which occurred last night at Goodland, St Michael.

Shem Kerry King, 24, of Country Road, St Michael, received gunshot injuries to his arm and thigh during a robbery.

According to police, King was approached by a lone gunman who shot him during the course of the robbery between 10 and 11 p.m. on Friday.

He was rushed to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by a private vehicle where he is receiving medical attention.
