Ellerton set for Premier League battle

THE new boys are ready for their first appearance in the Premier League.

Ellerton Football Club will enter the Barbados Football Association’s top flight competition today when they take on Belfield at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex at 7:30 p.m.

After three years of near misses, Ellerton completed what some thought was the impossible, moving up the ranks to earn their position among the big guns.

Manager Corey “Beenie Man” Barrow said he was more than elated because the move up was long overdue. (RA)
