TONI THORNE is making a return to fashion.

She launched a Caribbean shoe line at Primo Restaurant last Saturday when she hosted her Sip & Shop experience.

The brand is called “SWEETHEART”.

Thorne, who had also introduced a clothing line BoUik more than a decade ago, was awarded the Caribbean Next Gen Designer at the last Caribbean Fashion Awards.

This new shoe line features handmade leather sandals which are adorned with additional feathers.

Thorne said: “I wanted to have an outlet which was solely dedicated to a product in my business model. I also missed designing and didn’t want to do clothing. The current clothing designers in the region are doing an amazing job and I wanted to do a venture that would complement as opposed to compete with them.” (CM)
