PERSONAL ISSUES MIGHT have been at the root of the problems which caused a middle-aged man to take his life yesterday afternoon.

The man, John Mondesir, 68, was found hanging from his home in Farm Road, Ellerton, St George, around 3:15 p.m.

When the WEEKEND NATION visited the house just after 7 p.m. one woman who appeared to be a family member was in tears and too distraught to speak.

Police public relations officer Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler confirmed that the man’s body had been found and that they were treating it as an unnatural death. (RB)
