LEAGUE QUEENS Pan American International Insurance Warrens continued their trek towards a perfect season of double crowns when the Goddard Enterprises Limited senior volleyball knockouts were played Wednesday night at Oldbury.

Warrens moved to 3-0 and stayed at the top of the table in the preliminaries by handing Burger King Clapham Toners their third straight loss 25-13, 25-13, 25-20.

Toners were undone from early by the serving of Talya Layne, with Jamelia Corbin, Rhe-Ann Niles and Xhane Greenidge being too potent in attack for Warrens.

Layne exploited Toners’ poor reception with some powerful flat serves which launched advantages of 8-1 and 16-6 in the first set. (KB)
