Woman injured in accident at Mullins

A FEMALE PASSENGER was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital early this morning for treatment.

Shernelle King, 36, of Golden Mile, St Peter, was injured in an accident which occurred around 2:25 a.m. on Mullins Road, in the same parish.

She complained for pain to her lower body and received a laceration to her knee.

The car was driven by 35-year-old Anthony Maynard of Warrens West, St Michael.

The other vehicle involved was a van driven by Devon Hippolyte, 27, of Lower Carlton, St James.

Police investigations are continuing. (PR/SAT)
